My John Birch Society somehow let that commie Dook bastard sneak in the back door, completely disrupting my chances altogether. I would trade him and that other wuss, Stevie Nash, for any one player with potential for next season. Any takers?

Boozer has missed 21 straight games because of a strained quad tendon he sustained during a game against Milwaukee on Nov. 19.

The Jazz said in a statement Tuesday that a date for the surgery has not been set, but doctors said it likely wouldn't occur until Jan. 9. Boozer, who had been averaging 20.5 points and 11.7 rebounds, will continue rehabilitation until then.

The Jazz face the Lakers in Los Angeles on Friday.

A third of the way into its 9th season, the three remaining original owners are perched atop their respective conferences. 

The NY Schottsies have paired a stellar Lebron campaing (1.240 ytd) with a resurgent Shaq (.988) to post a league leading 210 ppg.  A surprising Nate Robison (.883) hasn't hurt the cause either and schottsie's draft day coup is about to extend to a 25 year old serbian center, who signed a multi year abroad this summer, is about to return to the NBA and whom dan presciently drafted in the 14th round way back on the first Sunday of september.

Doing their best in the Key Stoner conference to give us a 2000 championship rematch are the Colonel's very own Howler Monkeys. Led by KF-Most Improved megastar of the year, mr. Devin Harris (1.005) and an unrly cast of punks (melo, baron, jr smith) the monkeys have scored 209 ppg on their way to a 4-2 record.

Doug has effecitvely leveraged his most underrated skill - insane lucktitude - to parlay a mediocre 198 ppg into a respectable 4 and 2.    He;s used his second most underrated skill - an eye for breakouts - to amass one of the ORs best stable of keepers after clearing it just last spring, including the gem that is 10th round Mareese Speights (.907), as well as a 9th round calderon, an 8th round rondo (.831) and a 5th round russell westbrook (.828).
